Although it’s not good to clutter up your green blog or website with too many images, sometimes it’s nice to have at least one image to introduce each post. Of course if you are a talented artist or photographer yourself, you’re sorted!
For the rest of us, where can we find nice free images for our websites? Here are a few ideas:
Etsy
Etsy – You are not allowed to just lift images off Etsy, a site where there are many talented artists. But if you are an Etsy affiliate, then you can. When artists list on Etsy, they are of course agreeing for Etsy affiliates to promote their products, so this includes their art.
It’s a great way to find nice images from talented artists. Just ensure you use the affiliate link, and not a standard link to Etsy.
Styled Stock Society
Styled Stock Society is used by thousands of green and lifestyle blogs. This offers thousands of beautiful photographs, plus templates for marketing purposes. Great if you know how to use CANVA.
Élevae Visuals
Élevae Visuals is a membership site. Join up and get access to 10,000 images. There are pre-curated collections and you can also sift by colour, theme and ‘more like this’ for easy finds.
Stocklane
Stocklane is an online membership studio, run by a talented photographer. Sign up to download your choice of 30 images each month, the pictures change regularly. Nice for lifestyle images (pretty offices, home decor, beach and travel photography etc).
Pexels
You’ll have to sift through the photography, but Pexels has some nice stock photos. And they’re free!
