Climate Friendly Writing is a sweet little website run by me (Elizabeth). I have years of experience in writing on climate issues, and have created this little site, to help your sustainable website thrive!

Whether you run a little blog or a larger organisation, you’ll find tips and resources to help you share your message, plus recommendations for eco-friendly affiliate partners.

I also offer writing services. My standard rate is around £50 ($67) for 1000 words. This can be flexible (we can work something out for a longer article, it won’t be triple the price for 3000 words!)

But I would encourage you not to order super-long articles. What’s more important these days is Google’s E-E-A-T framework. This stands for:

  • Experience
  • Expertise
  • Authoritativeness
  • Trustworthiness

In other words, a 500 post that is accurate, well-written and uses trusted sources – is going to gain more traction over time than a super-long post stuffed with keywords, to try and fool search engines.

If you have a 10-page site that is complicated and not inspiring, I would instead encourage you to consider having these pages rewritten (even condensed into fewer pages), rather than a tome!

Also I am happy to rewrite anything on your site (or in literature) if you wish it to read better. I am particularly good at making complicated information easy to understand, in plain English!

I am also very creative. So will strive to make your article very easy to on the ear and eye, as well as good writing!

My only caveat is that I only work with ethical and environmental companies and organisations. This is good, as you can trust me to be on the same page as you.

I am not interested in having a big office with lots of big contracts. I much would prefer to write and rewrite good copy to help your ethical and environmental business or organisation thrive.
